Durante una reunión en la que se abordó la agenda para este año, los directivos de los Centros de Validación y Tecnologías Agropecuarias, CEDEVA, quedó en claro el propósito de acentuar la labor de apoyo y acompañamiento de los pequeños productores para que progresivamente fortalezcan su gestión con el aporte tecnológico que aparece, más que nunca, como relevante para la competitividad de sus emprendimientos económicos, la sustentabilidad del medio ambiente y la equidad social.
Estos temas formaron parte de la primera reunión del año del coordinador ejecutivo de dicho organismo, ingeniero Jorge Balonga con los directores de los CEDEVA de Laguna Yema –que este año celebrará los 20 años de su puesta en actividad– doctor Sebastián de la Rosa; de Misión Tacaaglé, ingeniero Ricardo Vailati; y de Ibarreta, doctor Esteban Baridón.
Se incluyó en el temario la labor interdisciplinaria que se repetirá este año a partir de la vinculación del organismo con el Ministerio de la Producción y Ambiente, el Instituto PAIPPA, el centro regional Chaco-Formosa del INTA, la Biofábrica de Misiones, las universidades de Formosa, La Plata y la UNNE así como otros entes nacionales e internacionales que mostraron su interés en trabajar conjuntamente para integrar datos a informaciones que mejoren los proyectos de diversificación productiva en marcha en materia agrícola, forestal, frutihortícola y ganadera, sobre todo en lo que atañe a producción caprina.
Consideran que la creación de los Centros de Validación de Tecnologías Agropecuarias para la experimentación de tecnologías en las distintas regiones de la provincia permitió comprobar el efecto multiplicador de su información para la evolución dinámica y beneficiosa de todos los estratos productivos.
Pero, se particularizó, acerca del impacto que han tenido para los pequeños productores agropecuarios al comprobar que han mejorado ostensiblemente sus expectativas de futuro pasando de haber sido inviables o desconsiderados a protagonistas de proyectos que progresivamente los llevan a convertirse en gestores de sus propias pymes rurales.
Recordaron que en el mes de julio de 1997 fue inaugurado en Laguna Yema el primer CEDEVA a partir de una idea y decisión del gobernador Gildo Insfrán recreada como la herramienta tecnológica de su gestión para poner fin al creciente despoblamiento del Centro Oeste formoseño y generar las posibilidades de producción en una zona cuyos suelos semiáridos y que por la ausencia del manejo de los recursos hídricos la condenaban a la desertificación.
Acerca de los resultados de estos casi veinte años de gestión, se coincide en que el rédito para adentro es el reconocimiento de los productores que se acercan a los CEDEVA y que están trabajando bajo las diferentes líneas de asistencia tanto en materia caprina como bananera y una amplia variedad de frutas y hortalizas así como en otras áreas estratégicas.
Interpretan que todos ellos perciben que es una herramienta de Gobierno que sirve a los productores, que son los destinatarios finales de todo el trabajo que se realiza.
Los técnicos muestran su satisfacción porque los productores “nos dejan entrar a sus casas, vienen a hacernos consultas, trabajan en equipo, hacemos los ensayos en conjunto, en síntesis ven que todo esto que ha elaborado el Gobierno con mucha inversión y muchos años de esfuerzo, les sirve”.
Consideran valioso, además, que los CEDEVA sean tenidos en cuenta continuamente desde los organismos internacionales, formando parte de redes muy importantes siendo representantes casi de la Argentina dentro de ellas.
Se admite que ese es también otro posicionamiento importante y el reconocimiento de que es una labor seria y que los datos que se están aportando son importantes no solamente para Formosa sino también los habitantes de otros países.
Las universidades
Se pondera, asimismo, la relación establecida por los centros de validación de tecnologías agropecuarias con las casas de estudios superiores del país y la región como ocurre con las universidades de La Plata y la UNNE a las que se suma la UNaF cuyos estudiantes que están por recibirse realizan allí las tesis para recibirse en los CEDEVA y el Instituto Universitario de Formosa con sede en Laguna Blanca.
